Well, I think we’re finally recovered from our Christmas season – our wonderful, crazy, Christmas season 🙂 It was full of family and laughter and lots and lots of love. Not to mention it was Ellie’s first Christmas too! (I love these photos we managed to get of her and her friend just before we left for NY)
We started in Western NY visiting my family – we had many parties to attend and lots of family to see. (And another photo session) We celebrated our own Christmas on Sunday, December 15 with my brothers, nephews, their mom, and my parents. And we managed to wrangle everyone together for a family photo 🙂 And got some of Ellie with her oldest uncle – I love these!
There was also a larger family party while we were there – and Santa even visited (as he does every year!).
We thankfully had about a week to recover when we got home – especially since David and I both got the stomach flu . . . yuck! All of David’s siblings and their families arrived on December 24 – and we had conspired with them to do some family sessions as a present for his mom for Christmas. So, we met each family individually on Christmas Eve (one couple Christmas morning!) and were able to show a slideshow for his mom as we opened presents. Here’s the images she chose to put on her wall
We had Ellie dedicated while everyone was in town and that’s when we were able to get a shot of the whole family – including grandma and grandpa.
What a fantastic few weeks – we love our families and wish everyone lived close to us so we could see them all way more often! How was your Christmas this year?
