Peter + Kensie – Engagement Session – Sudbury, MA

We knew Peter and Kensie a little bit already when they approached us to shoot their wedding in May 2013. Right from the start we liked these two as individuals, and loved hearing how they fell in love as we shot engagement photos in the snow.

We met at the beautiful Wayside Inn in Sudbury, MA – not too far from home for these two. This also happens to be where we met each other back in 2008 at a wedding and hadn’t been back since then. Rhiannon was a bridesmaid and David a friend of the groom (his brother Dan was the best man at the wedding). Neither of them expected to meet anyone that day – and in fact, when they found out their differences, they wrote each other off as potentials. Rhiannon had just turned 30 and lived and worked in southern PA, while David was 23 and entering his senior year of college in Worcester, MA in the fall. As fate would have it, Rhiannon moved to MA a year later, living with the groom’s family, where David and his family had lived years before! We soon reconnected at a party in Dorchester thrown by the groom’s sister . . . and well, the rest is history 😉 Back to the two we’re here to talk about 🙂

We met Peter and Kensie early on this snowy Saturday and wandered the grounds together. They came prepared with coffee in hand – and blankets to wrap up in. We heard stories of their relationship, how Peter “knew” she was the one, and the story of their engagement (which included her whole family – how sweet is that?!).

It was great to get to know these two better and we look forward to having more fun on their wedding day!
